I don't think I'd give anyone $500 for any reason whatsoever. And I'm talking not-adjusted-for-inflation $500. So in my book, Harry's payoff is extremely kind. And if you think of it, $500 means a lot to him too— he switched offices with Pete (which was a pretty big downgrade) for about $1000.

speaking of Jeff-lines, I kinda thought Jeff's mitosis-studying could have been a reference to the episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch where throughout the entire ep, they keep trying to study what mitosis is. They never learn it. (this was how I'd heard of mitosis.) I found a clip, but it's in Spanish:
