ha, I think because I had a long-term relationship where I slowly began to despise everything my ex-boyfriend did (down to the way he breathed— which was THROUGH HIS MOUTH), I can really relate to Marnie's feelings of aversion. Although Charlie seems like a cool enough guy.

yeah, not to be mean or anything, but when they keep saying how pretty Jessa is and she's not that pretty, it's kind of annoying. I mean, Allison Williams is insanely beautiful— and so is Zosia Mamet. Jemima Kirke, not so much. She has an American Apparel charm, but she's not like, a knockout. Honestly, when anyone

perhaps, @caspiancomic:disqus, but I think she's so lovable because she's so anxious and high-strung, but in a cute way.
Hannah's my favorite character, but maybe my opinion would change if Shoshanna had more screentime.

I agree. Less Jessa (the way she reacts to every problem is with a glazed uncaring demeanor— not exactly making for riveting TV) and more Shoshanna. I know Shosh was underused, but the biggest laugh I got this episode was her hilarious nervous face when Jessa tore into the room to have wild sex.

yeah, I gotta second 21 Jump Street. Although it wasn't incredibly winky, it did contain a few winks.

Next week on Mad Men: Don is going to stay past 5:30!

" Sally starts to pull at the thread, realizes that the woman she met in California was this mysterious Anna Draper"

I would honestly vote for Amy Poehler for president.

@avclub-9e701dfc2f4952d495077c6bf6c3c94a:disqus could it be that you're a bit biased, Ron? :P

I DID IT

@avclub-52ed1f89cb6f846e8efba0e4eacf9c27:disqus in your rant about people picking on you for being a jerk, you say "But I never go after other commenters." … ha.

Well, I remember for The Royal Tenenbaums Wes Anderson really wanted to get 'Hey Jude'. I mean, it was the leitmotif of the entire film. But he couldn't get the rights to the song, so he had to feature an instrumental version instead. So I think it's cheaper and easier to get an instrumental.

Wow. He looks good for 64.

wow, was he in Nam? Fury seems too young to be that old.

okay, tell me what the stereotypes were, so the discussion can get more specific than "Nuh-uh, it wasn't stereotypical!" versus "It is so stereotypical!"

also, what about the awkward exchange where Pete's in the phone booth and Harry walks over? (I can't remember the dialogue, but it was weird and funny.)
edit: oops someone else remembered it too.

"Next stop, Willoughby"

Abbey Road wasn't out yet!
