Most memorable scene was one of the many times he dispatched Murdoc. They were fighting on the face of a cliff, both attached to safety ropes. Murdoc slashes at Mac with a pocket knife. Mac holds up Murdoc's rope, which Murdoc slices. I never figured out why slicing the rope was enough to make him fall, but it was.

Yeah in retrospect it wasn't a suitable example. I just found it a disappointing effort after a quite a bit of online hype.

I loved that movie and I have no idea why. Whatever the subtext was must have resonated with something in my subconscious because I sure as fuck didn't understand what it was trying to do.
