Remember earlier in the season Dexter let Harrison keep a teddy bear although it had a victim's blood (I don't remember whose) all over it because he was teaching a lesson about lying or something? Is that going to get Dexter caught or did the writers completely forget about this?
I finally saw this last night so I'm a bit late to the commenting party but I have a completely different take on how the show is shaping up, at least where the suspense of the season is.
While I would completely agree with you on rational/logical grounds, I feel like everything the writers have had him do this season seems like an "awful lot of effort" in relation to the outcome.
Theory: Estafania was not up for deportation. They never actually show a scene with her in INS. I forget why he agreed to fake marry her in the first place for this plot device to exist, but I assume Steve being dead would create more problems for Nando even if she really was up for deportation. So my theory is that…
Jody calling Sheila "mom" again was a very subtle and nice touch which spoke volumes with only one word.

OPENING SCENE:
How was Ben Harmon able to simply rent (purchase?) the old Bloody Face apartment?
Perhaps F. Murray Abraham happened to be riding that bus, and the producers got him to sign a release. I have always wanted to be finished working by the time my commute was done.

Game mode is the one exception as it usually exists to reduce input lag. I've been at people's homes where the latency for Guitar Hero/Rock Band was out of control and "game mode" cleaned it right up. Otherwise I agree with all the above however I don't know how you know all these things since you died in the 1980s.
