Maybe we have a fundamental difference on how we see development? There is no denying that Alison has had more plot twists than Cosima, but the core of who she is as a character- suburban Mom in a suburban life dealing as best she can w the clone craziness- hasn't changed. She's still the same selfish, well-meaning,

I don't think this is fair. She's the brilliant one who is dying, but remains almost always cheerful (unlike her sisters who are… difficult). Her relationships are complicated, but no more than Sarah's or Mrs. S or poor Beth. She hasn't gotten any all season to boot.

I don't have a preference one way or another- I'll take Cosima storylines any way I can get them- but this is kind of ironic. For the longest time on tv/movies, gay people were NEVER allowed to have happy relationships. They were gay best friends only, and maybe in the finale some magically perfect romantic prospect

Yeah, I was hoping someone else would point out this completely obvious thing. Has no one ever seen the video tape of the cop breaking up the pool party in Texas? Waving his gun at the kids- none of whom are violent or armed, and then knocking over a teenage girl wearing a bikini and kneeling on her back? No? Maybe

This whole episode was great that way- Team Flash realized Barry makes bad decisions all the time, locks him up in a cell. He gets out, saves the day, then continues to make shitty decisions. Totally believable for the characters, and it was fun to watch. Oh Barry!

He has the audacity to copy the Tenth Doctor's sense of style, yet continue being the weakest link. Every time he was the focus, it made me wish I was watching Doctor Who instead.

Unfortunately there's no similar excuse for S3, which has been terrible again.

Earth 2 Wells started out boring but is coming along almost entirely bc of how fun he can be with Cisco. And they do give us a look back at Thawne!Wells from time to time that is much appreciated!

Justice League Unlimited is the only place it has worked well. They used the ridiculous continuity to tell an actual character story. This show hasn't convinced me it can accomplish that.

As they should, since the animated shows are by far the strongest non-comic interpretation for most of the DC classic characters.

Poor Martha got the worst treatment for daring to be someone other than Rose, and black at that. I will always stan for her- she walked away from the unhealthy co-dependency that tends to be a thing with him and his companions. Second only to Donna for me.

This debacle moved me to start a fanfic too- Martha Jones, Abbie and The First Slayer having dinner at the Inn at World's End (from Sandman comics)

Nah. Martha got to go out on her own steam. She decided who she was going to be, and left the Doctor to save herself from becoming a sad sack forever. I appreciate her a lot more right now.

The only black female character on tv to get a happy ending appears to be Martha Jones on Doctor Who. She saved the world, then saved herself.

Last week's Cupid episode may be it for me. I couldn't make it 5 minutes.
