All of Pynchon's books are readable. The only one that's much more difficult than the standard novel is Gravity's Rainbow, and even then, I've come across many books much more convoluted.

I liked Wind-Up, but not as much as Kafka on the Shore, which I'd rank among my favorite books.
The Incredibles 2 needs to be about the villains that went into hiding.
"You ever do that? With a woman, or another man. Or a cobra."
More like the red moose
I miss the mid-2000s rap when lyrics made no sense, but in a fun way. Now it's all Kanye: "We can take off into NASA!"
The real question: is Will's dick still attached?
I'm still waiting for the show to give us a true adversary to Hannibal. So far no one, not even Will, has been a match for him. I want to see Hannibal's veneer chip away and show us that monster beneath the surface.
He wants Will's dick in and around his mouth.
Hannibal got that bailiff to do shit for him. I'm sure he got a bunch of other people to help him, and as repayment he's had them for dinner.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE!"
Like I said above, House was a bad example (although most of House's genius doctor friends are all too young to as good as they are, most of them are just old enough to be just out of medical school). But House definitely comfortably fits in the "he's a dick so it's okay" trope. I think that trope is even more…
House and Lie to Me were probably bad examples, but it's implied that Bones and that nerdy guy from Criminal Minds are in their late-20s/early 30s, which is approximately 20 years younger than they should be given the knowledge base they seem to draw from. The lady Bones is based on is in her 50s in real life, but in…
Wasn't necessarily all in media res, but yes, BB was famous for the non sequiter opener.
I love when Beerfest (the movie) made fun of this trope by killing off one of the characters and then having his identical twin brother show up out of nowhere. The best part: out of respect for the deceased, the twin wanted to be called by the original character's name.
The different parts of Cloud Atlass are definitely not created equal (I thought the weakest section was the first, in the Pacific) but there were a few, the one in Future Korea and the one in the 70s, that I wish had been their own novels, the worlds were so fascinating.
I could see where she was coming from, but otherwise I couldn't connect. Middle-age, female, white, upper class, art major is almost the exact opposite of me, so that's probably part of the problem.
Along with evil geniuses, how about we get rid of "sexy late 20s genius/kind of dick protagonists"? Lie to Me, Criminal Minds, Bones, House, etc etc all have this ridiculous trope that spits in the face of real geniuses who take years to get good at their chosen field.
Bass guitar is all. Bass is life.
