there really are a lot of songs to choose from. the pretenders - back on the chain gang, the jam - a town called malice, duran duran - hungry like the wolf or save a prayer, madness - house of fun, billy idol - hot in the city, asia - heat of the moment, peter gabriel - shock the monkey, tears for fears - mad world,

i was trying to cast her mother and there were a few age appropriate names i came up with like lea thompson, elizabeth perkins or melissa leo. but i thought vicki lewis from newsradio might be an inspired choice. julianne moore would be ideal and there is precedent but i imagine she is quite busy. but maybe she could

i think it is unlikely that she would not have heard another brick in the wall. that was a huge #1 song in 79-80. i was 11 listening to am top forty and it was ubiquitous. but its just as likely that she didnt know much beyond that.

when i saw the headline i just assumed they were going to pay people to watch their new comedies.

you should look harder, perhaps on, say, kick@ss.

i found her funny and engaging during the promotional tour podcasts primarily on earwolf so i was rooting for her album to be good but it wasnt for all the reasons pointed out below. she has a long way to go before anyone ought to classify her as "one of the best comedians working right now." but obviously what one

"What’s up with Haqqani keeping Saul in the same room where he’s having
sex with his wife? Power play, or some kind of Showtime mandate for
butt?"

every time i watch an interracial scene i am reminded of dr. king's 'i have a dream' speech and i tear up a little. ok, well, tissues are involved.

does everyone need to be "angry" with this review? cant we just want another perspective?

they announced all the winners yesterday for categories not on the primetime show this upcoming sunday.

i turned it off at that moment…. forever.

i came to watch a confusing drama and a ford ad broke out.

im surprised no one has mentioned John From Cincinnati. not as chock full of milchian mannered dialogue but probing some of the same terrain at least to my superficial understanding. and judging from some of the comments it might end up with the same fate despite its prestige trappings.
