Not sure I'd agree that the crescendos are gone on Valtari! They may happen more quickly but they're still there. Either way, this is a superb album. I agree: they've mastered their formula. They've added a few touches that add a bit of new sonic depth - more percussion, more varied tempos, etc. Great songwriting. http://www.kammentary.com/2…

Hard not to reference other artists in reviews (as I know too well myself) although I wish we could take each artist and release just on its merits.
