There's been a lot of really extraordinary classical music written in the last days of their composer as well. Mahler Symphony No. 9 and Beethoven String Quartet Op. 135 come immediately to mind. You can hear them struggling with their own mortality, but there's a beautiful amount of peace involved as well.

I had to go back and rewatch certain bits in order to pick up every word (the bamford mumble is a joy to behold but not always great for getting things the first time) and I swear this got better every time. It was hilarious, and also unexpectedly inspiring. Way worth the 5 bucks.
