I don't mind them either. To state the blindingly obvious, your investment in the characters/story tends to dictate how open you are to spoliers (in general). Reading a one-off story by Carver or Bierce is very different from a multi-season long drama, or a two hour long movie you're pumped up to see.

Until then, I suppose we can all look forward to the Angry Birds movie sometime in 2013.
