Or make more time for Hannah Dunne to do anything. I really missed her this season.

I didn't get Netflix until after college, so I was late on the past shows. First year I all Breaking Bad and Parks/Rec to get current, plus Justice League+Unlimited. Then I did TNG/BSG/30 Rock, then I caught up with a ton of current shows, now I'm getting the stuff that's on Prime, which is the HBO stuff. Congrats on…
IIRC, the wedding does the Chris Brown viral thing, so even that's kind of tainted. I'll power through though, being a completist.
I did, I enjoyed both. I look back more fondly on Korra since everything can be mentally split better with the arcs. The filler on Avatar was a drag, though it was obviously aimed at a younger audience. While it was the lesser show for me, my favorite fight in the franchise is from ATLA, Katara vs the water teacher…
I think Korra S1 was my favorite but 1, 3 and 4 are all great.
Speed up. I won't go over like 1.5 for shows like Rectify or Justified that are too good to do it, but it's a life changer for so-so stuff like The Flash or right now as I get through DS9 with the sheer episode volume. Best show for it was actually TNG as it vastly improved the sluggish pace.
Appreciate it! (Though I'm a completist, for better and for worse ha)
My problem with Buffy/Gilmore/West Wing is I watch shows at faster speeds (a life changer) and the dialogue in those shows is already quick, so I've gone to other series first (plus, Buffy and Angel being somewhat of a package deal is daunting). Your points are noted though. While Whedon isn't totally up my alley, I'm…
You're…not missing much with the last season (though the finale has a case for best finale ever)
Dang, that's impressive. You're doing what I hope to be in like 2018 or 19 after I'm through with past TV.
Yeah, plus I forgot restarting Deadwood and Happy Endings (got sidetracked after Season 1 for both). And I still have to cross off Six Feet Under, Buffy, Angel…please send help.
Will finish: Deep Space Nine, Justified
Hope to finish: Veronica Mars, Futurama
Did finish: Avatar, Legend of Korra, Continuum, Alphas, Sirens, Seasons 4-5 of The Office, last season of Mad Men, The Prestige
Bailed on: Twin Peaks, Nurse Jackie, UK Skins
I was kind of weak in the "prior-to-2016" category since I also…
Understandable, but they turn that from a negative into a positive, eventually releasing Reese as a dry wit machine, almost a parody of the role he's saddled with early on. Maybe @disqus_KMKe0tqoWs:disqus can chime in here as a big POI fan. You really don't want to miss what the show turns into once the train starts…
By cohesion, I mean that sometimes it feels like two separate shows jammed together, with Jimmy's legal stuff and Mike's BreakingBadish type stuff.
Have you watched Crashing (it's on Netflix)? I actually much preferred it to Fleabag (just more my thing)
I don't agree on all these (higher on Saul, more disappointed with New Girl's complacency) but the effort is insane, the writing is good and you're spot on with Supergirl and Benoist. I feel the same way about Pitch and its two leads.
Ugh, sorry this Disqus thing makes it such a drudge without just being able to reply from the notifications menu. It's always somewhat procedural but really they do that to sneak their high concept stuff underneath the watch of the CBS execs. Episode 4 is an oft-cited "grabs you" episode (I don't care for it due to…
Nice!
I just think there were too many clunkers leading up to it.
Yeah, I'm not sure what to do with that, although I suppose critics are less likely to find "other means" to watch foreign shows.
