Totally agree with you. Playing House is so good, and The 100 was a big disappointment after a practically perfect second season (save the finale but I'm in the minority)

Yikes, Person of Interest not even on this list. It had 3 super-memorable episodes this year (Shaw's prison, The Big Episode that kicked the end into gear with Michael Emerson going full Ben Linus, and a flawed but really good finale) even though it had passed its peak. As someone who just started the show this year

This season was a big drop off for me with Broad City. It just didn't feel as fresh or dynamic. I'd say the #2 ranked season was a bit hyperbolic. Awesome show don't get me wrong, but everyone kind of raced to see who could love it the most.

I'm catching up on iZombie right now, and the fly in the ointment for me (mid-S2, so may have changed) is Clive not catching on to Liv's personality changes.

IIRC Chewing Gum, like Catastrophe, came out in 2015 but critics are treating it like a 2016 show.

This was actually the year I went from liking and respecting Veep to loving it. Agreed on Westworld though, I was so bored while catching up.

My in-progress Top 10 (main targets being The Americans, Black-Ish, Fresh Off The Boat, You're The Worst and American Crime Story, otherwise I've seen the big stuff and lots of other shows):
1. Better Call Saul: More cohesion please but Kim Wexler is an amazing character
2. Veep: Never been a Veep stan but it was

I only watched it last week (80s nostalgia and horror-ish are nottttt my lanes) and I came out impressed.
The biggest compliment I can give is it's … competent, and I mean that in a very nice way. It has a good set of actors and doesn't betray them with awful twists or really hacky dialogue. I'll take it 10/10 times

Yeah, I just could never stop being distracted by the way it was shot/acted. My favorite parts were the guest turns by Hannah Dunne and the woman (can't remember her name) who was in the trans discussion.

I'm already seeing Person of Interest get forgetten in critics lists and it makes me sad. The show had come down from its peak but it's in my top 10, punctuated by Michael Damn Emerson going nuclear at the end of the 10th episode.

Some great episodes for sure, but I find myself actually less excited about Thrones the closer we get, because without the structure of the books to guide them, the show is kind of like late night TV, where it's built around the "viral moments," as opposed to more cohesive themes. I just think threads like Arya and

I just got sick of the constant L's the team took, Gilfoyle gets on my nerves, and the Season 2 finale is as pissed as a TV episode has made me this decade (the whole "keys down the drains" shenanigans)

I can agree with that, though my counterpoint would be that Star Wars Rebels also had a top 5 episode for me this year, and it' won't sniff any top 30s (and deservedly so)

I think Black Mirror (forgettable aside from San Junipero) and Silicon Valley (great first season, meh since) are too high, but otherwise this is one of the better lists I've seen, at least without having seen the top 15 yet.
Also, feels like Game of Thrones is the most agreed upon show this year. Whereas others vary

If you haven't (and I don't mean to sound condescending if you have), you should also watch Clone Wars (duh), Justice League+Unlimited, Young Justice and a bit different than the others, but I loved Jackie Chan Adventures. Also, X-Men Evolution starts very slowly but does some really cool stuff in the middle of its

I liked Sabine getting the Darksaber and the nod to Satine but I think the uninteresting-ness of Ezra just keeps these big episodes from having any bite or tension. They've done great expanding Maul but his obsession with Ezra makes me think less of him because I just don't feel any spark as to why Ezra is important.

Really enjoy this show, but I thought this season was kind of a mess and not as great of a showcase for Bernal and Kirke. I missed the chemistry between Kirke and Hannah Dunne.

The baseball dialogue and mechanics of this show are so bad (maybe that's partly why they don't focus on them; the Josh Peck analytics on a whiteboard was the latest cringe inducing bit) but I am gonna miss this show like hell if it doesn't get picked up, especially since Ginny's injury presents a chance to tie in the

I'm reading them on my first run through the series right now and they are indeed fantastic.

I assume when you say "'An Inside Man' is by far Star Wars Rebels’ best episode to date," you mean this season. Don't think I'd put it in the top 5 of the series (this show has like 65% of episodes I never need to see again but also has 4 or 5 excellent ones far ahead of tonight's respectable episode.)
