Growlithe/Arcanine, any and all of the first two generation's starters and their evolutions, Raichu, the first two Eevee editions, Dragonair, Entei.
Not my favorites but Spoink/Grumpig, Noctowl, Magmar, Starmie, Haunter/Gengar are cool too.

Tier 1: Umbreon, Flareon, Espeon
Tier 2: Vaporeon, Jolteon
Tier 3: the other ones because I never bought a DS

50% of its assumed coolness comes from Ash's always chewing on a twig (which is totally fine, just noting because that dude was awesome)

I don't get it at all. Smart people on my Twitter timeline are like "song of the summer" and I'm over here mostly happy that I've avoided hearing it more than occasionally.

When I was a regular listener, he always was a distraction on Doug Loves Movies too

It's the best cast in a while because they're actually playing (Derrick was great but turned BB16 into a snoozer) and no ugliness of BB15 (Aaryn, GinaMarie, Spencer, Amanda, Andy etc).
I can see the dull criticism, but it's gonna heat up with Shelli/Clay split up, Austin dealing with Julia, plus John/Becky starting to

The "I am many things" theme is so powerful. I didn't love STAS but man was their rivalry great storytelling.

It's only one a week. I watch it in lieu of the CBS broadcast since what they show is often false to fit the narratives they want to push.

You picked a great BB season to dive into. Best combo of strategy and non-hateable cast in years. If you don't already, you should listen to the Big Brother Gossip podcast (this week they had a special bit of listeners imitating Liz's magic ability to add an extra syllable to every word)

Watching AD and Better Off Ted made me love Portia de Rossi as she was the only character in either show that really made me laugh (just not my kind of humor). Veronica was by far my favorite part of the show.

Phantasm is so good. I don't remember all the plot details, but it leaves a sense of heaviness, and that's a sign of how great something is for me. Have you seen JL/U?

I had never watched Seinfeld because I didn't like the cast (Veep made me kind of like JLD) until I saw one in a class (can't remember why) and it was striking how dated it felt to me.

Finished Season 2 of Alias and am into Season 3. The Super Bowl episode (AKA *That* Episode) is thrilling but the twist at the end felt like a jump the shark moment and the rest of the season only validated my thoughts. Was it good? Yes, but it also felt less enjoyable after that. Oddly enough, I ended up loving the

I was just trying to think of an answer and as soon as TDKR occurred to me, I saw your post. Totally agree. I think it's unfairly maligned and my one regret of the film is if the Matthew Modine storyline had been removed, the whole movie would have been a lot tighter without losing much. Easily my favorite of the

Fair, as Caity Lotz is great.

Dang, that's a quick hook for a show that had an all-time great season just a year ago.

He seems like a cool dude but man does his face piss me off.

Take note, Russell Wilson.

Wait, Undeclared got an A+??? There wasn't a single episode of the show I'd even give an A-. I mean, it was OK, but I watched it a couple months ago and have already forgotten any minor plot detail.

Yep, the 2 parters just weren't tight enough. Better to leave something on the cutting floor than add filler. (Though IMO Starcrossed is the best thing the show did and while I'm a tad critical of JL/U, I think Starcrossed is one of the best stories in TV history)
