This show was truly brilliant and I got to give props for ABC for not only supporting it and giving it a full season but also renewing it. Also, I applaud John Ridley and his team of writers for creating a bleak, heart wrenching and engaging story.

I'm just saying that the reviewer shouldn't bash the show in every review writes because the show isn't how it once was.

Look at shows like Lost, the sixth season was nowhere near as great as its first season but they still got A- episodes. There have been many episodes in House from season 5 onwards that should have deserved A/A- (for example Broken Nobodys Fault)

Yeah well they should hire someone who is willing review the episodes individually without comparing to it's previous seasons and constantly criticizing it.

But he also should state the positives of an episode too instead of ignoring it.

Yeah, Zack's review has been pretty biased. For every plot twist or character development that occurs in a episode he just brushes it off as manipulation. Its pretty funny how everyone is defending zack by saying he is objective but his reviews portrays mostly the negatives of the show and harly any positives.

no matter what they do, everything will feel like audience manipulation to most av club viewers and reviewers

yeah we all hope so.

even though most of the comments here are positive, the people who rate (including the reviewer) are not really fans of house, all they do is criticize the show. They rarely ever give an episode praise.

I think these episodes:
Broken
Brave Heart
Bombshells
The dig
20 vicodin
The Confession
Nobody's Fault
Chase

should be added to A-/A list.

Yeah i know right, its like Zack Handlen has an inability to give a house episode an A-/A.

I agree too, when will Zack ever give an A/A- again to a house episode. It always seems that the highest rating an ep gets is B+.
The last time an episode was rated an A- was in season six's "wilson"

I think this episode should have at least recieved A-. It's probably the best episode of season 8.

No way, house was amazing. The AV club commenters just blindly agree to whatever  Zack Handlen says about house. I think Zack Handlen shouldn't review house since he hates the show and never stops complaining about. They should give it to someone who actually likes the show.

I agree, it is probably the only well written and intelligent network tv show. It would even better if it was on cable tv because then they have much greater freedom of writing. Most av club commentors are ignorant fools . If you dont like it, dont waste your time going on about how bad it is because no one's going to
