It's rather like Galafianakis is trying to pull off the Eddie Murphy/Ben Stiller career arc in just one month. Hey, why be in genuinely funny adult movies when I can do crappy kids movies for more money?

It's quite true that the Bruckheimer brand means utter crap to those of us who read the AV club it means quite the opposite to studio executives. I just can't believe a movie brought together so many actors with great "street cred" in a Bruckheimer movie.
