Well, this is going well.

His approval rating will come out ahead, with 'moderates' rallying around the flag and how "presidential" his announcement was.

I think it's clear that there is no plan one way or the other. If this only ends up Iraq 2.0, we'll be lucky.

Trump completely reversing course on Syria within 24 hours is disturbing. There is no way he thought this through; he wanted to do something, decided bombing was a thing, and end of discussion.

Russia was notified of the strikes before Congress, per the existing 'deconfliction ' line. You'd think they would pass this info to the Syrian military, but there reports of an unknown number of casualties.

Will Trump start accepting refugees? Or is the plan to leave them to be gassed and lob missiles at these "beautiful babies" and that's it?

I bet that "Clinton's no fly zone will kill us all" guy feels like a big fucking asshole.

Old men being wacky! Breaking lots of laws!

Allegedly, Bannon threatened to quit over being kicked off the NSC, but was convinced to stay as Chief Strategist by a Trump mega-donor. Bannon is probably the only person that could get the Breitbart crowd to turn on Trump.

For sure. Jared has no business being in the White House, and is trying to grab as much money as China will offer to keep Trump in line, but he's not actively evil like Bannon, just corrupt and incompetent.

Bannon getting kicked off the NSC also opened up a spot for Secretary of Energy Rick Perry. So, there's that.

He is basically a one man shadow government at this point.

But he already screwed over Chris Christie!

I imagine that he asks himself that question. He is not good at it, and clearly does not want it.

Trump getting cover on the wiretap bullshit clears the way for him to openly use Federal power to crackdown on political opponents. It is a direct line from this to the end of democracy.

The U.S. policy in North Korea is now 'ugh, not this shit again.' And Syrian gas attacks is 'hey, don't blame me, we just got here.'

Haha, what? That's not how the military industrial complex works.

Hey, a one characters head was cut off, put in a box and sent to another character—and she still came back.

Fox wants to make it 2007 again?

Trump went on a tweetstorm attacking Clinton again this morning, nearly five months after the election. He also said his wiretap accusations "are turning out to be true" implying he had no idea what we was talking about and is surprised he's getting any sort of backing on it.
