AVClub game reviews don't serve as "reviews" for me. They just serve as a notification that "Hey, there's a new game out" because I don't check IGN or any other gaming websites that often. Then if the game seems interesting I check reviews at gamerankings.com to see what people who actually know shit about video

That's unfair. They're both two of the more annoying D-bags on basic cable.

Junkin' with Val and Dave
Junkin' on the now defunct Turner South network was essentially the same concept as American Pickers, but executed in a much more entertaining way. The hosts weren't antique dealers, they just went to flea markets and yard sales and bought stuff that they liked, and then sold the stuff on

Since Danny Glover would be the natural choice for Uncle Ben, why not Darlene Love as Aunt May?

You heard me, Coltrane.

Sounds good to me. Even better:
Danny Glover as Uncle Ben
Crispin Glover as Norman Osborne/Green Goblin
John Glover as J. Jonah Jameson
Savion Glover as Kraven the Hunter
Soundtrack by Corey Glover

KOTOR's in my top 10 as well. Karateka I remember playing on the Commodore 64. It was a good game, but far out of my top 10.

Yes, I definitely meant a mediocre movie adaptation of a video game. I played through Sands of Time about a dozen times. I didn't enjoy the sequels that much, but SoT is in my all-time top 10.

Wow
A mediocre videogame to movie adaptation? It's about time!

"Baby Mine," is that the part where Dumbo's little mouse friend takes him to see his imprisoned mother, and she cradles him in her trunk? Jeezus, I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it. I freely admit that I lose my shit every time I see it.

"The Mask of Zorro" fucking RULED. It buckled my swash and swashed my buckles.

It's been done (brilliantly, I might add) by Paul Vogt, on the short-lived and not-much-loved The Rerun Show. His name's Paul too, weird.

Jason Voorhees
I think Thomas Pynchon would agree that Jason was transfenestrated, not defenestrated.

I decided that Shania Twain isn't country when I saw that sci-fi video she did. I mean, could you imagine Kitty Wells doing a video where she's flying a spaceship dressed like a sex robot from the year 3000?

"Southern Vampire Mysteries."

Goddammit
I was really looking forward to the scene where Bond watches a video of a plastic bag getting blown around by the wind for 10 minutes.

They didn't find what they were "looking for."
Not-Locke didn't say that the people who dug the well didn't find *anything*. He said that they didn't find what they were *looking for*. Well, actually I think Desmond asked if they found what they were looking for and Not-Locke said no. Which I took to mean that

Janet, I'm well aware of Pertwee, and he's certainly the biggest clothes horse of all the Doctors, but I happen to think Davison's Edwardian cricket player garb with Panama optimo hat is more stylin' than Pertwee's Victorian fop outfits.

Shut up. I loved Davison, second only to Tom Baker. In fact, those were the only two I ever really liked, and I'm sure it wasn't only because they were the ones who got the most rotation during the show's PBS run in the 80's. After those two, the producers seemed to decide that The Doctor shouldn't be quirky and
