lol, alright Pauline Kael.
lol, alright Pauline Kael.
There was a recent anime series(I wanna say from 5-7 years ago) that I heard was well-done.
Listened to the new Perfume Genius album. I had never listened to him before but after seeing the good reviews for it, I decided to give it a shot. Really well crafted and I like his vocal on certain songs. I also listened to the new Nite Jewel album and that's also really good.
He's a decent rapper, but has some cringe-worthy punchlines. He's a much better singer, as evidenced on Awaken, My Love!
I saw the Oklahoma tag during the ending credits, so at least part of it is filmed there.
This reminds of the story last year where it was mentioned that Netflix was in preliminary talks with Prince before he died about doing a reality series about Paisley Park and it's day-to-day workings. Except that Prince wasn't going to show up on camera.
The concert film is great(it was released back on VHS in 1985). That 17 minute Purple Rain version from it >>>>
Right, and some of the unreleased songs that will be on this deluxe version will be different versions than the ones that have been bootlegged for decades.
When the sex is so good, you get sucked into it, literally.
So, "Electric Intercourse" was released on Friday along with the pre-order and I love it. Ultimately, replacing it with "The Beautiful Ones" was the better decision, but I'm glad we have a studio version of it now.
Plus, this was announced back in 2014 when Prince re-signed with WB and got the rights to his masters.
After a friend recommended it, I listened to Charly Bliss' new album, Guppy and it's a very well-done power pop album. Favorite tracks are "Black Hole" and "Scare U."
Nope. Never really listened to Bob Dylan outside of certain songs, but I wanted to try him out for a while. It's been a fun ride so far.
I'm trying to figure out why my comment got deleted. Wasn't anything out of the ordinary?
Interestingly, the highest charting single from that album is "Call My Name," which peaked at #75 on the Billboard Hot 100. That seems to be the song people most remember from that album.
I thought I read somewhere that the first million sold was because of the concert ticket bundle. The second million sold was legit(it's currently certified at 2x Platinum).
FBI: "Ha, I knew it."
Right, and in that regard, he failed miserably.
Definitely Kendrick Lamar's new album. Been in heavy rotation since Friday. I've also been embarking on a quest through Bob Dylan's discography and I finally got to listen to Blood on the Tracks. And I can see why people say it's his best work.
Can't wait for Maggie Rogers to blow up fully.
