She just now transformed into a demanding shrew? That's how she started the show. If anything her character's gotten more complex as she's had to come to terms with not only Walt's power over her, but also her complicity in the whole situation.

I appreciate the in depth (creepy) response to my random bullshit. To clarify, I knew the two weren't the same guy, but I still could have sworn I've seen the pickup truck guy's face somewhere before.

It's probably nothing, but the pickup truck guy looked somewhat familiar to me - anyone else?

So what's the spider symbolize? The other loose end, Todd (who works for pest company)? Imprisonment (Skyler, or perhaps Walt in the future)?

He was really just not careful at all in that scene. He was mere seconds from being fucked, and the whole thing was a huge gamble and not very professional. Shows how deep behind enemy lines he is now, how much more he's pushing his luck with Hank's inability to connect the dots.

I agree that it was clearly set up as the classic Hollywood/Western "heist gone wrong", but I don't think the kid's death was too heavily foreshadowed. The whole plot definitely had an ominous, foreboding vibe, but I still think the shooting was pretty shocking and well done.

Same, man, I feel inadequate. I've never really had any desire to watch the show until now.

True, but this one was so blatantly and pointlessly evil that it's the clear signal of the beginning of the end. No secrets here, unlike Jane or Brock - it's out in the open, they all know what they (indirectly?) did, and shit's gonna start unraveling soon.
