I'm relatively sure that they picked up Johnson specifically for Hard Knocks. He's not a bad player but he's older and a liability in the locker room. Philbin is more of a 'build up' your receivers kind of guy from what I can tell.

I literally yelped out a 'Holy shit' when she walked up to him and then a "Oh for fuck's sake' when he delcared that she was looking hot as "usz"

By having two characters from Kings playing the exact same characters I consider this show to be a cruel tease.

Yes and an an outsider I thought it was an interesting point. when Mack said something about letting the public know he was dead for just a few minutes more I rolled my eyes a bit. Maybe that line is just obnoxious but when Don told the plane I understood what they were getting at.

I liked the theme that bringing people good news actually makes the people reporting it happy. It helps explain why these people like doing what they do.

I read the Gucci comment from Sloan as her further freaking out a little at filling in. Having them pull out Gucci is a sign that she's going to the show not an "oh women love clothes" thing.

How did it not function that way? Am I making shit up? I haven't seen this episode in a while admittedly but still.

I read the situation a little differently. By extending an olive branch and arranging for this kid to get medical care they could open up channels with a dangerous regime that could really improve the world for the better. Thus is anger when the Ayatollah bitches out in public.

When I saw this in the theater my first thought was "Dear God they're making an Aquaman movie?"
