I really enjoy this show but I don't understand why Mack is made the audience surrogate so often.  I definitely understanding the criticism leveled at her character a bit more now. They need an intern that someone can smugly explain all this too.

Thanks to both of you that makes more sense and I can see how that would be preferable.  I will say that while the camera was a bit ridiculous I liked that it moves things along a little faster than they might go otherwise.  I generally don't care for love triangles so by forcing Jenna to confront her feelings for

Embarrassing and honest question:  what is an example of an organic development?  Is it just critic speak for saying the confrontation should have been forced more slowly over several episodes?  Not poking holes, just ignorant and curious.

The Real World still has hints at something interesting but it's largely beyond redemption at this point.  Last season (one of two I have ever watched) there were two relatively socially conservative guys who roomed with a lesbian woman and a bisexual man.  Their interactions were fascinating.  I feel like it was a

Why was Mack affected and Will not?  I'd say characterization thus far.  From what has been presented we know that Mackenzie is a largely successful and intelligent jounralist (PEABODIES).  She had 'the perfect boyfriend' but took him for granted, cheated on him and realized she had not only lost him but apparently

You bring up a good point.  As I think about it, his words to Maggie did sound dropped in.  I wonder if a scene was cut or something.  It does feel like a piece is missing.  Additionally the guy in the taxi as you say was a little on the nose and seemed to be quickly shoe horned in at the end.

Ok whatever I guess.  I'm just hate watching this show at this point anyway.

I'm confused.  The Sanguinistas are the religious nuts….why do the Authority people always to the call and answer bit about Lilith's blood?

I don't know that I agree the portrayals here were sexist.  I took the mistake Maggie made (getting too personal with someone she kind of knew during a per-interview) to be one of inexperience rather than gender born.  The circumstances with which she knew were a little odd but not outright sexist.   Odd in that it's

I was confused by this as well.  I assume they have some deeper history.  It makes sense for Mackenzie to defend him.  She realizes she's the one that turned him into an insufferable asshole so upon finding out everyone hates him she reacts..poorly.  We have no such history with Charlie.  Unless they plug in some back
