Sure HR and Dr. Know get alot of credit for the Brains, but from my understanding DJ is sort of the leader of the band. He navigates them through HR's various crazy antics. Excellent player too. Sweet and Melodic.

Most of us here had to battle The Beach Boys whoring their songs to sell soda and their late 80's "comeback" to come to a level of appreciation. It takes awhile to forget Wipeout.

In all these comments no on has mentioned the DIY series Rhino put out several years ago. It is out of print, but it is ground zero for Power Pop. Also Bomp records.
