This show is excellent, but I got stuck on episode 11 because I cannot watch them sit through the radio show.  My sympathetic cringes are going off just thinking about it.

I will unboldly agree.  I haven't read the books since I was in middle school but I remember them being really hammy, where as this show is a gorgeous nightmare.

I am a bit pissed about how bad this movie looks, because the books are a treat. They aren't as timeless as Harry Potter or some of his fantasy ancestors, but they are full of awesome adventures and lame/great jokes. They are fun, mainly, and I don't know if the movie is going to represent that.
