I like Pete a lot but the actor is clearly very influenced by Ricky Gervais

Yeah the fact that he went to take a piss and Edmure was taken away in the bedding ceremony tells me that they both survived.

Never thought about it like that, great point

I think that much like Deadwood and Al Swearengen, Tyrion has kind of emerged as a breakout character on the show. And also to a certain extent Dany because dragons and all. Robb wasn't a breakout character and Cat wasn't really either.

That's where they dropped the ball with Greatjon…it took 8 people to finally subdue him and he was drunk

I agree with the people who say we will see her body recovered by the Brotherhood. The people who haven't read the books need something, some kind of hope after last week. Since they won't be showing the Purple Wedding until next season, that hope will come in the form of Lady Stoneheart. And yes they also don't want

Think about it like this…if Robb wins the war what is the best Bolton can hope for? If the Lannisters win the war Bolton becomes Warden of the North (which is what the Starks were). So he picks the Lannisters.

One thing that they have left out of the TV show has been the fools/jesters of Westeros. No Patchface, no Ser Dontos, no Jinglebell

Grammar police on the internet…what a treat for everyone

I think Berric was different actors. In season 1 it was just some extra and in season 3 it was a different guy. It did work for Barristan Selmy though but he had a much bigger role in season 1

zi'ng'!

Right I mean that's what I wanted…the Freys thinking they got him good and drunk and then it takes 8 men to restrain him. How great would that have been?

I know and I guess some of these reviewers (not this one) might be factoring in non-book readers. I would argue that the "new" Cat is way better and at least gets something awesome to do, something that I think the TV audience is going to love.

OK let's talk season 4 casting…Mace Tyrell, Oberyn Martell and the Mangar of Thenn are confirmed. I want Brian Cox or Brendan Gleeson to play Mace…Cox is 67 and Gleeson is 58. I think Oded Fehr plays Oberyn Martell and then you can have this guy play Doran Martell in season 5:

Is there a chance the Battle of Castle Black happens next week? I can't imagine it's the last we've seen if Mance this season.

So what do they do with those actors? Can you sign actors to "future" contracts? It seems as if Weiss and Benioff have things pretty well mapped out at least through book 5 so they know they'll want to use those characters again. So do they say "hey in the fall of 2014 we're going to be filming season 5 so we need

I know the actor thing is definitely tricky on this show. I think mainly I'm focused on the Greatjon as a character and how he went, at least in the books, from being vehemently against following a child into battle to being Robb's greatest champion. I know they did the scene from the first book where he gets his

I think we are going to get a lot of stuff added to Lady Stoneheart just to keep Michelle Fairley in season 4. I think we'll see a lot of her and the Brotherhood killing Freys.

I
think that the actual staging of the scene was great, the horror, the
tension. But I don't feel like the show has done an adequate job of
portraying just who Roose Bolton is and why his betrayal is so crushing.
I kept pointing him out to my wife-even going back to his first
appearance last

Same goes for Edric Storm and to a certain extent Edmure and Blackfish. I guess those are just not important characters in the remaining books.
