They can do the Penguin realistically
It seems like Nolan has zero interest in making a Batman movie that touches on any of the sci-fi aspects of the DC comics world. Even with Ra's, there was no Lazarus Pit. I doubt then that they'd have Killer Croc since it's a walking, talking crocodile. The Penguin of the comic

I know, that dude is everywhere. He's often playing the exact same character but I still enjoy seeing him.

Well, maybe they're remaking the movie because the first one wasn't that great? I saw it also and I thought it was pretty good. Maybe the Fincher movie will stick even closer to the book than the Swedish movie did? They really didn't delve into Blomkvist's womanizing or his relationship with Berger or Cecilia Vanger.

I still don't get why the remake
Is also being set in Sweden, featuring American and British actors for the most part, who will be speaking English with Swedish accents. I love me some Fincher, I will see anything he does, and I like everyone in the cast, but this is a weird one. If you're going to remake it, why not

Since Natalie can't do it
Maybe they could just hire Kiera Knightly?

Wouldn't The Event be
that time travel exists or that people came back in time? I mean if that's what they are, time travelers, then wouldn't time travel existing be a huge deal in and of itself?

The science project partner
Jesus that girl is a huge cock tease. I mean really, she couldn't have been giving him more signals. What a bitch.

Yes but within that realm of fiction there's usually accuracy. There's a difference between something being real and something being accurate. I'm not saying it ruined the episode for me like the other guy who posted about that. It just kind of bugged me

That's all I'm saying…and now I need to go kill a chicken so the family can have dinner tonight.

Illinois is a flyover state…everything in the midwest is. It's so "quaint" and "down to earth" and "real" according to Hollywood.

There is no 11 PM news in Chicago
I'm sorry, I know it's nitpicky and this show is usually very good about details, but this one really bugged me. I know that people in LA don't care about people in the flyover states but there is a different time zone in Chicago, which is hundreds of miles away from New York.

Olivia is in a different apartment though. She used to live in a rowhouse that had a front door on the street and now she's in an apartment building with a front door in a hallway. I know this is a stupid quibble that I really don't care about but I'm just saying, it's different.

Isn't everyone over on the other side being set up by Walternate? Other Broyles doesn't know his plans and Charlie and the other members of the Fringe team have been told a lot of lies about our earth.

I hope there's something they just aren't telling us yet because otherwise it's a huge and irritating plot hole. Also, what about the alternate William Bell? Is there one? When do we meet him?

I had totally forgotten about The Observers until someone mentioned them in this thread. Obviously they are ancient beings and there are other ancient beings, which then adds a whole new layer to this show. not only do we have alternate universes but an ancient race of technologically advanced beings?! NERDS!!!!!!

codpiece!

According to Fringepedia the "zero event" of Walter going over was in 1985 and the Cortexiphan trials in Jacksonville were in 1982. So when was the ZFT manifesto written?

I believe at some point last season Olivia's sister decided to get her own place. My question is, why does Olivia's place look different? I don't remember her moving but suddenly she's in an apartment building instead of a row house

Now I'm starting to remember. Olivia was in pre-school in Jacksonville with Bell and Walter, and they were creating these soldiers for the war. I'm not sure of Olivia's exact age but I assume she's older or the same age as Peter. So she was 3 in pre-school and Bell and Walter are creating soldiers, but that has to be

can't wait for the Fringe character named after Jareth the Goblin King
