But but but…Sarah Palin is going to be our president in 2012!

Enjoyed the skewed version of Leon and Mathilda
from "The Professional"…pretty funny and very Venture Bros-esque

Slumdog, Crash, Titanic
Three of the worst best picture winners of recent memory, but I still saw all three of them. Slumdog was definitely the most tolerable of the three, and actually a good movie, but it does not belong in the pantheon of Best Picture winners. 2008 was a so/so movie year so that's why it won.

Enjoyed the references to "Marathon Man"
Both in the old woman freaking out when she saw Hoffman at the wedding and the fact that his name was Hoffman. Nice work Fringers.

Is using the c-word not reasonable discussion?
I mean at least when talking about "Jersey Shore" castmembers…male or female?

The ads running on the AV Club
are irritating the HELL out of me and I have no idea what the show is or what it's about or who that guy is. It just looks annoying.

Tubing…tuuuuuuubing…tuubing
My favorite part of the Tom Green cancer special was him in his hospital bed saying tubing over and over and over and over again.

The Hollywood pitch meeting
Must have been "300" meets "Gladiator" meets "Rome" because the visual style and plot seem like a combination of those three. Also I'm 90% sure the African guy we've seen in the commercials, who's teaching the gladiators is the same dude who gets pushed down that big hole in "300".

While I knew this one would never win any Oscars
I'm surprised I'm not hearing about it being stupid fun and completely over-the-top. As the reviewer said there's only two scenes like that. It kind of has a decent cast too…I didn't think Doug Jones was in a lot of bad movies although it seems like his role is kind of

Uh…something about a flaming bush

Not that…I just can't imagine the show that this universe is existing in is the same one that has grown men dressed in molded rubber and latex costumes

I'd call the show MacGyver-esque
In that Chance seems to have knowledge of a lot of different scientific principles as well as some knowledge of engineering. Last week was the parasail built of tarp and seat belt, coupled with the knowledge that the air above the train would shooting up at a certain angle/speed to

It might be a red herring, but if it was they would have explained it already.

Marshall's nickname
Should have been something similar to his basketball nickname. Why wasn't it White Fudge?

You're Marshall Ericsson-esque reasoning is fantastic.

The Reporter
Wasn't there a brief scene in the first two hours on Sunday when she made a suspicious phone call, where it seemed like she was part of the plot? or am I just imagining that?

How else can you explain the Whiskey and Boyd we see in Epitaph One?

Boyd in the future
I assume that he and Whiskey are doll versions of their "good" selves. The Boyd we see in Epitaph One is probably some sort of imprint of the Boyd we knew and loved in the series, before we found out he was EEEEEVIL!

If this had been an X-Files episode
The people of the town would have developed their own ability, through some sort of hyper-speed evolution, to change outsider's perception of their appearance. Other than that, this could have been an X-Files episode. Still thought it was good though.

Goner Records
probably wishes they weren't called Goner Records right now…or maybe they do, I don't know.
