Abed's Batman voice
I think it's better than Bale's…maybe not content wise, but the sound is better.

I thought it looked terrible, but then again most of the dishes did look terrible.

I loved last week when one of the Volt brother was asking Kevin what happened in the judges room and he said "I'd rather not talk about it". Kev just deserves to win. He is the best all-around chef. There might be certain things the brothers do better but there are certain things Kev does better than them, not to

The dickishness of Mike Voltaggio
How is that a "developing" story. The brothers have both been dicks the whole time. Bryan did say Korean War also

Dollhouse and Friday Night Lights
Both of these shows have two things in common for me. Most of the episodes are excellent and after every excellent episode I get so damn angry that more people aren't watching one of the most emotionally resonant, layered, well-acted, well-written shows on TV. But at least NCIS is a

It was all worth it for Lewis' line
"are you dating a Mormon hairdresser?!"

The dessert situation
I'm sort of sick of what happens with desserts on Top Chef. I feel like in all these scenarios where the contestants have to plan out a full meal, the judges need to decide…desserts are mandatory or desserts aren't allowed. It seems like when they have desserts be a choice, people like that prick

What Suzanne gets out of it
Maybe revenge against Betty and all the other bitchy moms she has to deal with on a daily basis? I'm sure there's a little jealousy of the life they have and she doesn't. Based on her earlier convo with Don, at the solar eclipse gathering, it seems as if Don isn't the first to at least

I did like the fact that the pizza looked vaguely liked chicago-style pizza and that the secret ingredient in the crust was just plain old corn meal. although when they're driving into chicago they show a view looking from the north to downtown south. they wouldn't see that view coming from New York

Seinfeld…George and the bald woman
Kramer sets George up with a friend of his that he hasn't seen in a while. He only does so because George has decided to get a toupee, which Kramer thinks makes him look much better. They go on a date and the woman turns out to be bald which George objects to. Elaine, already mad

the episode is chock full of awesome quotes

Well Donna…agree to disagree I guess. I can't believe how divisive this episode is though.

I agree…it was fantastic from start to finish. Maybe I'm wrong about this, and maybe it was a different AV club writer, but I swear someone who writes for this website and reviewed a HIMYM episode said that the best thing about the show is that it's full of typical sitcom tropes but they turn them on their head and

The weepy singer/songwriter song
to be fair, it was Jeff Buckley

it's amazing how their hair was perfectly quaffed when they got back to the church

Elaine called her grandma "Grandma Mema" on Seinfeld…I believe she's from Maryland originally.

That place is pretty terrible…i went there in high school and i just remember it being like Wisconsin Dells or Myrtle Beach. even then i thought it was skeevy and I didn't know about all the casinos. then i went back 10 years later and it's all casinos.

Check it out…I think it's still pretty clever/funny but maybe it's because I don't pore over the YouTubes too often. I also just got married last month so maybe it's all still fresh in my mind

The YouTube thing can be easily excused from being corny or dated by the fact that it was implemented by Michael, who is always hopelessly behind all trends. That is something that has been established and driven home since the show started.

"Man alive, there are … men alive in here" and "Stupid babies need the most attention" are probably my two favorite/most quoted simpsons lines
