Agreed with the love for Jack Huston. I hope he plays a bigger role in the last two episodes. His character—those veterans who had to wear tin masks because of facial damage—is something you really haven't seen in movies or on TV. How he handles the disability is fascinating to watch.

I'm watching, dammit. It's the best 60 minutes of television on all week. Who gives a fuck what other people are watching.

Hee Haw was just one of the two great Saturday night shows every Saturday night at my grandparents' house. The other was Lawrence Welk.

Yeah, I was lost too Zombie Jim. I thought it was a reference to some sort of nervous breakdown/drug OD

A Serbian Film and Human Centipede would make an awesome double bill…FROM HELL

As I remember, I made it as far as EMPEROR RING IN CRISCO UP THE ASS, so what's that? A hour? A hour of my life, gone, and I'm not even a HOMOSEXUAL

For all the time you spend watching and writing about a show you hate, Hesgiom, why not take a few seconds to look elsewhere on the Internet and see that yes, there were wireless telegraphs aboard trains back then.

I might actually buy a Jessica Simpson cookbook. I can see it now: "Frito Pie, Two Ways—with Plain *and* Chili-Cheese Fritos!"

Of course, no one had the money to buy it—it came out of our parents' liquor cabinets, like God and Nature intended.

Now booze! That was one thing I had a lot of in high school.

If I heard Desperado every year for the rest of my life, that would be okay.

I will hear nothing bad said about Steely Dan. NOTHING

I'm THIRTY-something, I like the Eagles just fine (always have), *and* I laughed when the Dude announced he hated the fuckin' Eagles, man.

In terms of sheer annoyance with their body of work, I have to rank the singing drummers from very tolerable to totally not:

I hope someday the Coens will use Michael K. Williams in one of their movies.

I loved the whore's faltering smile as Richard turned around to show his whole face. Jimmy had to give her a little pep talk…you know, 'cause she's a patriot.

I thought "Did you think he saw us?" (or whatever) was a reference to Mr. Photographer, the husband. Or maybe Jimmy.

Ah, I see Mrs. Beaton got to that link before me.

Also, if you want to know more about the tin masks:

Yeah, I was wondering when you would mention that in your recap, Noel. Meyer was the guy sniffing Chalky's operation out.
