Between Rust and Marty and Rick and Morty, 2014 is shaping up to be a hell of a year for buddy (lack of a more compelling word) shows. I imagine that Rust and Rick would have a lot to talk about; "There is no God Summer. You've got to rip that band-aid off now. You'll thank me later."
