Stannis could've worked easily with the jump. He decides to let the Ironborn and the Boltons fight it out rather than risk his army striking south. Instead, he keeps his troops in The Gift, using them to rebuild/reinforce the wall and maintain an uneasy peace between the wildlings and the locals.

I'm continually amazed by how poor it sounds like the US coverage of the games is. Over here, the BBC has live coverage on 4 channels, plus online streaming of every single session of every event, both live and afterwards. It finally seems like they're putting the license fee to good use.
