Did anyone else notice the Apollo candy bar in Henry's backpack? Definitely means the purple smoke is the smoke monster's more fabulous brother. New villain for season 2.

YES! I love my opinions being validated by The A.V Club. The whole Landry killing someone was just terrible. I remember watching the episode and thinking, please don't let the show go this way. So happy to find out it was studio pressure.
Speaking of rottenness while speaking of FNL, I just watched Battleship.

Oh god, season 9 of Scrubs was truly awful. As much as I love Scrubs, they suffered from a fair but of mediocrity. I'd say the first 4 seasons were great, after that they oscillated in quality. But season 9 is just unforgivable.

This is why I've always been a little nervous when there was talk of Arrested Development coming back. It was perfect in that brief flash of excellence. Coming back could permanently stain that image.

I was sucked in by the VAG screencap on the home page. Crafty bastards.

Absolutely agree. The stretching out of a good story is its death, a la How I Met Your Mother.

I don't know how I feel about the possibility of Homeland without Brody. Given the talent on this show, I think they could probably pull it off, but I think the story of Brody and Carrie is more interesting than the story of Carrie and the gang chasing the bad guys.
