No, of course not. What the FBI did there was incredibly predatory and morally uncomfortable but the difference lies in that the embassy worker expressly carried out illegal activity.

My read was definitely close to yours than what was said in the review. I think making the viewers realize the inherent lack of consistency in the mind of this couple was part of the goal of this episode. We're not supposed to see them as ordinary functioning human beings who just happen to have a dangerous…

Ooh! Mine:
Me too. It's on my list of absolutely need to watch movies but I just haven't gotten around to clearing it because I'm currently on an Asian movie binge. Wong Kar Wai is amazing.

People like you are the reason the AVClub is a site I visit many times day. Thanks for doing this.
In the early days of its first season, I was almost embarrassed to be watching it. It was just not very good, and few moments of brilliance Schmidt and Nick would have was just not enough to make me like it.

I played the entire thing. I'm not a huge fan of branded interactive products but that captured the internet zeitgeist perfectly.
Oh I agree completely. The version of farming that it glorified is long gone from America. Sitting in the air-conditioned cab of a John Deere tractor with the routes mapped out on GPS isn't farming, it's a video game.
RIght? It was so strange to see a genre of advertisement that always uses traditionally masculine imagery suddenly celebrate the nerd in the space suit.
I think I stopped breathing for a while when it came on. My dad grew up as a farmer in the developing world, so I have great respect for the demands of the profession. That was a pretty special moment.
Part of it has to stem from the fact that TV reviewers are free to extensively discuss events that transpired during an episode, while film reviewers are quite constrained in that respect.
I'm grateful that both of my parents are still with me, but every so often I come across music that I know I'll turn to when I lose one of them. It's a dark road to go down, but Colombia makes it a beautiful one as well.
I would be very surprised if Dunham's playing this straight. How is it a victory and how can anyone claim to be a good friend when they shout louder and louder as they insist that the supposedly bad friend say the words "I'm the bad friend."?
Dayum.
I think that's the part of what Dunham's trying to achieve with this show.

I love Bunheads, and I'm a 20 year old guy in college.
