At the end of the day it IS a Spielberg movie so he of course chooses to throw some  adulation for Lincoln in at the end, but for most of the movie its tight, gritty and shady Washington politics the way it should be depicted.

I was under the impression that the movies would include additional back story of Middle Earth from the same time frame from Tolkien's other works.

Tom getting everyone to help him fix up Rent a Swag is a very different story from the one where everyone helped him move. Sure both involved him getting his friends to do a lot of work for him but while the latter was just him being lazy, the former represents his evolution into a more mature individual who knows…

The current season actually gets most things right, but has one terrible plot that is taking a while to get rid off and can't quite get the good things to fall in place properly. It's improving however, so I am hopeful.
