I've always gotten the impression that Walden was supposed to proto Cheney of sorts. A real war hawk going for the presidential nomination.

I thought so too, but I now realize it was Finn coming to terms with the consequences of his parents finding out. He came across as a spoiled brat in previous episodes, but now that we've had more time to examine his relationship with his parents I kinda feel bad for him.

He thought the CIA had sent Mike as a message. When you're a double agent and your situation is getting increasingly shaky, I think it's justified to be angry at your handler if you believe they're rattling your cage.

That is really harsh, but I have to also admit fairly accurate assessment of both Brody's character and our government's relationship with the military rank and file.

There is nothing more frustrating than getting screwed over by a judge in a debate/speaking competition because he or she was a total moron.

@avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus I agree. There were some glaring mistakes in last week's episode, not the least of which being the CIA nabbing a US congressman, detaining him illegally and without an attorney and subsequently stabbing him in the hand.

I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that his suits have been significantly upgraded since returning to Lockhart Gardner. Czuchry looks so good in Brioni, it's criminal. The wardrobe people also doing a great job on him. Youthful cuts and patterns but professional.

This theory is completely plausible and I like it very much. The Maddie one, I mean. Lane and Cary, not so much.
