My parents told me they were getting divorced as I was literally in the middle of watching White Tulip (ie, I was told to turn of the tv to come have a 'talk'), so I have mixed feelings about it.

Anyone else get really emotional this episode? I was bawling at Robb's wedding and Dany's reunion with Drogo in the tent hit me really hard too. I might add I've had a bit to drink this evening

I remember the first (and only) time I tried absinthe I reacted even worse. It ended with me sputtering and the shot I had taken dribbling out the front of my mouth

In their defence, the actor did leave the show. Also, was it explicit that the head in the bag was Rakharo's?

They may just be rushing through the place-setting so that they can devote more time to the action heavy end of the book. I think I saw somewhere that the battle of the Blackwater is going to be an entire episode.
