There was also one where Archie chastised Mike for eating each dish on his plate to completion, as opposed to taking a bite of each in turn.

I dunno, I do love all 3 episodes.  The finale of WWE is such a confusing mess and full of action that it's delirious fanwank.

I remember JMS addressing that- and basically he said it would have been nice but it's not good to do it just to have a "reunion" if it doesn't serve the story.

I don't think the Vorlon would care about this machine.  It trades life for another, yes, but that wouldn't drastically alter the shape of the galaxy and the very nature of evolution the way Deathwalker's immortality potion would.

Sci-fi is loaded with them.  Yes Combs of course but just in Trek you have the same guy playing Warf's brother and, in one episode, adult Jake Sisko.  In original Trek the first Romulan captain we ever see comes back as Spock's father.  In Babylon 5 the first Soul Hunter is also G'Kar's uncle, and of course the same

Actually, I believe he fails to do the first two but succeeds the third.

I like that moment too, but my one quibble is that the piloting doesn't look all that crazy, so it's a bit jarring between what they show and what they say.

Well ok fair enough.. but what I mean was, like when he was pleading with Garibaldi to let his life have meaning and all that… I got a teensy-bit ferklempt, you know?  I just can't imagine Draal 2 pulling that off.

In a recent previous episode some dude also antagonized the second in command (resulting in her big bar fight), who would be presumably as well-known as the security chief.

Sure Draal 2 is more fun but the way Draal 1 delivers his two big speeches (the first to Delenn about his going to "the sea" and the 2nd before he hops in the machine) are pretty effective for me.  The sincerity of the character shines through, saying words that could easily have been corny.
