Right.  A guy can be genuinely nice AND a great tipper.  Certainly he's not going to waltz in there and start bragging about how he stole money from his brother-in-law or whatever.

Yeah that kinda bothered me too- also that it went into like warp speed and got fuzzy.  But it's ok- I enjoy any time Lennier is paired off with anybody not Delenn for the sake of some amusing hijinks.

I may be misremembering, but didn't they pretend to be married because Franklin's fake id was that of a woman, which was the best they could do?  So they weren't even pretending to be gay married.

Yeah, this, pretty much.  The dynamic between Lennier and Delenn is IMO one of the most misunderstood in the show, but nice to see here that is not the case.  AVClub is smart!

Pfft, if anything it picks the episode up.  Not in terms of "quality" but for sheer entertainment.
