I would think it would be silly to do this for Crusade, a failed show that only had 13 episodes.

IIRC JMS never pretended that Sheridan was always planned, just that the need for a character like him was conceived before O'Hare quit.  Which implies a situation where we would have had both.

I just Boxleitner as an actor a lot.  He's Shatner-lite.
As for the Big Reveal re: Sinclair, I don't know if spending more time with him would have helped.  It's just as possible we'd have been given so many "clues" that we'd lose the surprise factor… or it would have been too hidden so that it would have felt cheap.

Eh, I stand by the idea that if you won't watch a show because of hair style, that's stupid.  Unless the show is called "Best Hairstyles" or something.

Londo assembles a laser gun out of Lego pieces hidden throughout his room.  Cool or lame?  I say both.

Early DT had plenty hooks.

Assuming that it was the original intention to have Delenn and Sinclair hookup, I wonder why JMS was so adamant in denying that to be the case, when he had no qualms about admitting to other such failures and changes of story.

Fun fact- she was married to Garibaldi at one point.  The actor, not, you know, the fictional character.  So I wonder if he said the same thing.

I know B5's humor could often be flat, but this bit I like because I take it that it's Garibaldi that has the corny sense of humor, not "the show."  Doesn't he seem like the kind of guy who could be into lame jokes?

Sheridan certainly starts out "over enthusiastic"- that is deliberate (and for me, infectious.  That's why I like Kirk more than Picard- people in space should be constantly thrilled and amazed that they're in space) because he's basically destroyed and re-assembled throughout the series.
