Definitely gotta include Signs and Portents. It's the name of the season!

80s Genesis gets unfairly lumped in with Collins solo in most people's minds these days, I think. I don't hate Collins' music per se but Genesis, even Invisible Touch, is so much richer. Yes they are great records. I even like much of We Can't Dance. People forget that not everything on those records is hit…

There is a Genesis tribute band called The Musical Box. Currently on tour I believe, recreating the Lamb in its entirety. I saw them do that a few years ago but now they actually got the slides from the original tour. Check 'em out if they're coming to your area, it is prog nerd heaven.

Fusion and prog do feel like two sides of the same coin in this sense. RTF, like a lot of fusion and prog, has some wonderful compositions, tons of noodling, and everything in between.

Trespass is certainly an underrated little gem, if for no other reason than Gabriel playing flute. Flute in rock bands is fun, which I know makes me a dork, but this is the prog article so whatever.

The first and last tracks are basically the logical continuation of Close to the Edge (the song) and are just as good. It's the middle two tracks that lose me because they try to be "tribal" and "folk" and that's just not gonna happen successfully in a double-prog-concept album.

Good suggestions, here. Afraid of Sunlight is actually my favorite album. Their website marillion.com also has some samples.

I do remember listening to No-Man and having the same reaction of "nice but.. meh." Will try again.
