Even though I disagree with you on some matters of taste (I do genuinely love early Genesis), I wish more music fans had your approach to things.  You're not letting the name of a genre dictate tastes.  You dig what moves you, it seems- as it should.

He was probably always kind and caring.  You can be that and into Rand.  And yes, I find that "philosophy" as repulsive as most people here do.

Oh yeah, I agree.  As I mentioned elsewhere, they are my favorite band.  They've managed to move with the times and be true to themselves and be great.  How many bands can say that?

Look, I'm a champion of them- I like DT a lot.  Yes they are derivative (but not nearly as much as there are other bands that are derivative of them).  Yes it's corny- because it combines the two corniest
