in what will no doubt be the dorkiest post in this series of threads, I've always been pissed I didn't go and see the 8-bit NES cover band the Advantage when they last came through Chicago like 4 years ago.

Ooh. That sucks. I actually don't know anyone who saw them for that tour so I have no idea if it was awesome or not, however that album is one of my favorites of all time and I have to think it was great.

I, too, am a fan of the show despite it's recent shortcomings. I wouldn't call the hatred irrational, merely the disgruntled murmuring of folks who have seen what the show is capable of, and now have to deal with something less than that.
