Ian Ziering is 50 (!) years old and David Hasselhoff is 62.

I guess we're the only ones too polite to cancel his shows. He has 3 this week in Kitchener, London & Hamilton

Cosby is playing in my mid-sized Ontario city this week and there are plans for protests inside and outside the venue. He released a statement asking people to stay calm and ignore protesters who try to disrupt the show.

My wild speculation is fuelled by the fact that no woman ever throws up on television without a reason. I think Scotty's frequent trips to the city are to meet up with Whitney, and she's pregnant with his kid, not bulimic, and that's why Noah is a suspect in his death.

But the makeup really seemed weird in this episode. Eli looked like he was performing in Cabaret (and I hate his new hair colour this season), and Ramona looked completely orange (and her American accent is not so convincing).

Lays salt & vinegar are outstanding.

Hickory Sticks!

Let the bears pay the bear tax. I pay the Homer tax!

I think a "song of the summer" is a crossover hit. A song even people who don't normally follow pop music have heard or at least heard about. It usually has an interesting hook and/or video that makes it stand out. You hear it if you go out in public in the summer - at weddings, patio bars, the beach.

That's a good burn, Patrice.

I think I have been hyper-sensitive to it since I thought of GG as a paragon of fat acceptance (because of Sookie's humanity) before I rewatched.

You're treating fat people badly. You're judging them, you lack empathy and you think you know better than they do what's good for them. It's nice that we don't all have to subject every decision we make to judgement by others. Just fat people.

How's that different from the way nudity is usually done on film/tv? It's rarely integral to the plot.

Oh it sure was! As I rewatch it I really notice how often Lorelai and Rory talk about not getting fat or criticize/comment about others for being fat or envy others for being thin. One example is Lorelai, more than once, expressing glee that Sherry (Christopher's girlfirend) would get fat while she was pregnant. It

He just perfectly summed up my feelings about modern jazz.

I think it was sriracha on the corn.

This is one of my all-time favourite episodes but I somehow didn't realize it also contains my most-used Simpsons line ever "buenos ding dong diddly dias".

I'm really enjoying the Canadian coverage on CBC. Maybe it's because we keep winning medals, but I'm more of the "just hope everyone does their best" mindset and I love to see anyone succeed. I can't tell if this article is trying to say Americans only being interested in Americans who win is a good thing or a bad

I don't care about football at all but I read almost this whole (mega long) article because it is hilarious, so good work John Teti.

Sean O'Neal, baby, you're the greatest!
