"It's pronounced Kra-Boffle!? All this time I've been saying it Crab Apple! Oh, I feel like an idiot!"

Chris Parnell was born to play aggressively normal-looking dudes who are utterly, batshit insane.
Defending Jennifer's Body
I rather liked this film. Cody's goals for it may have been a little too lofty, but a horror film in which the women are the aggressors and the monster-slayers isn't a bad idea. Yet critics love to knock down any films that attempt to subvert the worse male/female stereotypes on screen. (See…
The last sketch is always the best
I thought the broken amusement ark ride sketch was the best of the show too! Why do they always feel they need to burn off the best material in the final ten minutes?
X-Files
I don't devour scifi and fantasy like I did in my teens anymore, but time has not lessened my love for the X-Files. I spent my middle school Sunday night trying to tune into my local Fox affliate through a crappy antennia connection. My devotion was so great that I nearly went blind trying to make out the dim…
Plagiarism works both ways…
Or maybe someone in Hollywood stole the concept for their Duck Tales script? Anyone thinka THAT?! Huh?
Uh… yeah. Sorta lost my train of thought there too.
Darlene Connor vs. The Talk
So apparently The Hater now both loathes and loves Sarah Gilbert?
Too late for Sam
This might be a case where never is better than too late. Rocky Horror holds a special place in my heart, but it's too tied up with midnight movie parties, dancing the Time Warp in the halls of my high school and trekking out to the local community college and/or downtown movie theater — costumed and…

Shore Leave is awesome. Not scene has paralleled his first appearance with Sphinx, however. Anyone know where's they're a Starbucks?
Good eye!
Kate Beaton
So glad to see she got a shout out in this review. Somehow two of my favorite pop culture products never previously acknowledged by the AV Club got to make a first-time appearance together!
I was also amused to hear alternative universe Rusty sounding just as biting and rude and nasal as his lesser self. For some reason I assumed he would talk like Jonas Sr.
Yeah, I thought they were gonna pull a "Lost Season 2" and keep us hanging for two episodes using the exact same cliffhanger. I would've been content to wait another week for a little more time with alterna-Rusty.
Who was the creepy man with the hawk supposed to be?
Paging Aykroyd and Ramis…
Thank goodness they developed this vital technology before shooting began on Ghostbusters III…
This was funny
Wow, I could not agree less with Rabin on this one. I thought this was the highlight of the new season. I laughed my ass off.
Victorian vs. Regency
This really gets my former English major hackles up. Do you really think those clingy dresses Austen's characters are always wearing would ever fly in the Victorian era? /random obscure rant
