Pitch black darkness at 7am is a hard thing to get used to.

I think TLD would've worked best as a 4th or 5th season episode, so the series would have a chance to revisit these characters.
I'm guessing NSFW goes without saying in this instance.
I'd heard that about the Zimbardo experiment, too. Egregious human-rights violations aside, the study was flawed from a purely scientific standpoint.
OK, off-topic here but, those slide-out 'READ NEXT' things are really annoying. AV Club, please banish them back to the land of wind & ghosts.
I believe the full quote was "Thank God I'm rich and white."
Boo-fucking-hoo.
I've found that, unless a game is built with stealth as a core concept, like Splinter Cell or Thief, stealth missions invariably suck huge ass.
Control has always been weak in the Uncharted games. The combat sucks for all the reasons the reviewer cites, and the tomb-raiding parts often play like Dragon's Lair: press the correct button & Drake automatically scrambles up to the next ledge. Press the wrong one & he bites it.
The picture & sound quality has really improved since their streaming service first went live. It's still nowhere near Blu-Ray quality, but it's a damn sight better than the bootleg VHS-looking shit they used to stream.
I've heard that about Hulu too, and it makes no damn sense. Whether you're using a PC or a Blu-Ray player, you're still watching it *online.* I'm betting this is another pointless, arbitrary restriction applied by the content owners.
Outstanding! JL & BTAS are by far the best two shows in the Timmverse.
That's about the same reaction I have. That and "Jesus Tapdancing Christ, Bollywood cranks out some hot actresses!"
From Floyd County Productions/FX, presumably.
I'm a bit confused. (And stupid—sorry.) Is the AV Club going to review the entire series or just this pilot? I'd love to pick up the DVDs & run through this show again.
Hulu's free service shows only the latest few episodes of the shows that are available on it. Hulu Plus is a subscription service that gives you access to a pretty large back catalog of TV shows, but (rather maddeningly) Hulu Plus has commercials.
I went traipsing down the Netflix horror category: Paranormal Activity 2 followed by the original The Fog and topped off with Night Of The Comet.
I liked it as a kid, but now it just seems a little too maudlin for my tastes. My blackened, joyless tastes.
What are you talking about?! What's going on here?! WHOOO AAAAAARE YOUUUUUUU?!!
That's Realfield. There are a bunch more at http://juannavarro.wordpres…
