As someone who mildly enjoys the original (I'll watch it on Netflix when I can't find anything better), I would say this is no better or worse. Like the original, it made me grin a few times, but never laugh out loud.

Yeah its a crazy world when making music critics like gets you more praise than making music they don't. The idea that critics somehow create our "value system" is ridiculous.
