Charles Barkley, definitely. I have no interest in basketball, but his appearances on the "Clerks" cartoon are the highlights of that show.

I could never see LeVar Burton's characters in either TNG or Roots as anything other than the guy from Reading Rainbow.
Saved actually had a really solid cast.
Yeah, he had some great albums back in the day.
I'm pretty sure "The Harder They Come" made more money on the soundtrack than the film itself.
"Jolene" is a perfect song. It's one of my all-time favourites.
I think that's the thing. If I met Henry Rollins, I would probably just tell him "I like your records. Thanks" and not act all freaked out by his "celebrity."
He mentions girls a fair bit in "Get in the Van," but it's usually very vague ("the girl I was seeing told me she was breaking up with me").
I always thought Zeppelin was one of those universally beloved (even by hipsters) bands.
My previous comment mainly applies to adults. Teenagers usually get a pass.
Personally, I find anyone who puts in too much effort to align themselves with a particular subculture to be annoying as hell.
You're right, it doesn't matter. The point is the same.
OK, so maybe I'm going over the top on the whole 'wanting to beat up hipsters' thing.
Oh, is that what a "fixie" is?
Why can't people just like what they like without worrying about how other people will perceive their taste?
"Danziged" is my new favourite word.
Hipsters aggressively strive to be "cool," whereas hippies are happy to just hang out and be friendly. They stink a little, but they're far easier to deal with.
He didn't get shot in the head while standing next to him.
Hipsters, in my understanding, are people who are overly concerned with being 'hip'. Therefore, they are always striving to be interested in the newest trends in music, clothing, etc. etc.
I definitely side with Rollins on this one.
