Yeah, I'm trying to even remember situations in the movie that are playing on past voice acting, and I have no idea what's being referenced there. I'm sure maybe there are some like "Easter Egg" type jokes in there, because it's using Phylis from The Office as the voice actress for Sadness, and Leslie Knope as Joy,

God, Anchorman 2… I stopped it also.

You're braver than I. I saw Attack of the Clones once, and remember abhorring the experience… I haven't relived it since.

I agree with you. I liked all of the Solversons, so that throughline between the seasons really did it for me.

Ah, touche. Thanks for clarifying.

I can't tell if you actually think what you wrote there addressed my question, or if you're ignoring my question. I've seen that article. I agreed that the project is an expensive clusterfuck. What I was saying was - the project was funded by the military, with its budget, and it was going to happen no matter what,

Is that a VOTE that you're talking about? I mean, I guess I could nitpick here, but my understanding of this is that the program itself is way over budget and delayed, (i.e., McCain calling it tragic and a scandal, etc.), but Sanders is pushing for the program to be worked on in his home state because it'd influx jobs

Yeah… welcome to Zack Handlen's reviews. The "comes across like Zack is only paying half attention to what's actually going on, and bringing his own preconceived biases into the review, which frankly no one gives a shit about" part is pretty much spot-on.

I agree that this season as a whole has definitely suffered. I don't know if it's the consensus, but I really loved Season 2 - perhaps more than the first, but both were fantastic. The characterization and writing seemed much better in the first 2 seasons. There was a lot more felt humanity, I thought, in the first 2

I mean, he was also chained to her, right? So maybe it was nobility on Wrench's part, or self-survival, but regardless, he did keep her around even afterwards. He was definitely more tender toward her than he could have been. I don't really want it to be romantic at all, but I liked what was there.

… But is he voting against his principles for those companies? Is he championing major increases in military spending, for instance?

Yep. And why sometimes politicians do things for those industries that are big in their state, and why lobbying for auto industries, or big pharma pay those representatives in those (and other) states - to control the laws in favor of their corporate interests. I mean, that's just the way it is.

Cool, dude.

I was aware that Booker supported it after the bad press he initially got, so he accepted the revised bill once his lame excuse was addressed. I still believe his initial refusal to vote for it wasn't based on safety, but the money he was making from pharmaceuticals, and just voted for it after it became clear he was

Sincere question… I know about Booker and the health care thing recently, but what's an example of Warren doing that? I like Warren mostly for her economic policies, i.e., reducing student loan debt, etc.

I think I sort of lost the main point I was making - just like McCain today!

I'm not sure that's what it is in this case. He has a habit of saying things that ALMOST maybe kind-of sort of, maybe if you squint?, saying stuff that's contrary to traditional party politics, then doing the spineless, party-first thing in basically every situation. There are plenty of Republicans like that. Lindsay

It feels sort of wrong to upvote. But I did it anyway.

The way Burr said it, too, seemed a bit more forceful than usual, as if implying, "Okay, enough of that shit." But maybe I'm just projecting. Most other senators were mindful of the time and ended just shy of when time was called anyway.

Isn't it obvious? He doesn't REALLY give a shit about Trump. He wants his constituents, who the vast majority support Trump, to vote for him and/or shut the fuck up and leave him alone, which won't happen if Fox News starts highlighting how McCain is talking smack about Trump.
