Unbelievably fascinating.

I hope you understand that I am, in fact, being facetious, and I am not under the impression that actors are exactly as they appear on screen.

I can compartmentalize alright. It's still unfortunate that Lowe's a total asswipe, though.

That's true. He wasn't very well suited to what Parks and Rec became.

But, Parks and Recreation! Everyone is so lovable on that one!

My hope is we'll see some sort of acknowledgment of this the next time we see Bran, to make sense of it. I do hope they smooth it out with some explanation coming up, but even then, I'm not sure it really "rights" the wrongs of this sequence for me. It felt like a sequence built on a really shaky foundation.

Ah man, that is sad. I am sad now. He does sound like an absolutely insufferable prick in that O'Reilly interview. How can someone involved with Parks and Recreation be that much of a prick? I need to go watch Nick Offerman chop some wood.

Nah. I've rewatched it twice, and it remains excellent. The ending is sometimes the most unsatisfactory part, in that it retreats, to a degree, to a character story, rather than a narrative about the corruption in the world in which they/we live, but it's still a stellar experience.

I don't agree with point 2. I'm not sue many people really would agree with you? It's true that the direction from Fukunaga was dynamite, and the acting was, of course, electric, but one of the reasons that McCaunaghey had such a good character was because he was given an interesting perspective, with interesting

I know it's quaint to make fun of this feature, but when will it end? WHEN WILL IT END?

I think the possibility of the Raven ensuring the Hodor event happened is part of it. I also know the creators said something about the Raven uploading/downloading info into Bran in those moments so he has the visions the Raven had stored. I can understand the importance of this, but also find the actual presentation,

To John, Gus, or any AV Club Staff:
I'm having some serious technical issues with the redesign of the Polite Fight sites… for one thing, the header bar that says A.V. Club at the top, and has all the links, is flashing and minimizing and maximizing randomly, like it's having some sort of seizure. Additionally, the

I really agreed with Gus's interpretation here, and perhaps even extend my criticism of the entire sequence even moreso.

"he ended up not being able to make the movie at all."

"and Margaery's, in which Sandor kills Frankenmountain, who has been
poisoned/sabotaged by Qyburn/Cersei so that he loses and Margaery is
found guilty."

Yeah, you're probably right, we're probably not going to agree then. For the record, though, the idea is basically a term used for unrequited affection. Whatever you call it, it's the same principle - you have affections for someone, and pine for them, and they do not recioprocate those affections. The "friend zone"

Wait, is THAT what you were trying to do? Post hypothetical situations that had nothing to do with the post in which you were replying? The post you replied to was essentially about instances of people being friend-zoned, where you have affection for someone, but are delegated to a friendship-only position in the

I'm… I'm not sure that that really makes sense or works in the way you're stating it? I mean, when you consider the way actual attraction and romance works, I'm really not sure people have the sort of control that you're suggesting to be a moral person.

Likely then leaves to do lots of cocaine with his millions of dollars, and stare at the asses of other female celebrities for the rest of the day.

Ah man, I miss Perd Hapley now.
