Yeah, I think I agree with Gus for the most part that there are only limited situations in which the viewer really can empathize with Mike, because of that distance. There are only a couple of scenes from Breaking Bad that come to mind where I felt something approaching empathy for the man - namely *SPOILERS for

Yeah, I lost my appreciation for Stannis around the time he *SPOILERS FOR PREVIOUS TV SEASON* burned the little girl alive and stuff.

I know lots of TV and movies make murder murder, and it's all sort of the same and stuff, but… I'm pretty sure there's a big difference between shooting someone, and stabbing them. In the face. There's an intimacy factor, and considering that both of them ARE killing a living person for the first time, I think the

To be fair, Glenn was stabbing someone in the face. A someone who was sleeping.

Sort of. Counterpoint: The guys they were killing seem to be "big fans of murder" (I love Hot Fuzz), what with the murdering someone in every group they encounter (supposedly a 16-year-old-boy from the Hilltop community), and keep polaroids of the bashed in heads of their victims on their walls while they sleep at

I really liked Abraham a few episodes go when he saved Glenn and had that one liner about opening the gate. Plus lots of other nice Abraham moments.

I agree with this. I was really hopeful when Morgan arrived.

I didn't even notice that she dropped a cookie on his grave…

RIP, D'Angelo… :(

That's so sad. But also, kind of funny… say, wait a minute! If you're not funny, and the funny guy stole your name, and you said something funny, then that means…

More like E. Buzz KILLER, right, fellows?

It's in our nature that we humans feel uncomfortable sitting down in someone else's home if the homeowner isn't sitting with us.

That's true.

Start now if you want, but you still won't be the first. I'm sure someone started ten years before this post was even made.

John Teti and I are friends now?

Accidentally… right… accidentally wandered right into that other person's genitals.

I'll agree to some extent about the Hanzee part. The latter point about Hank, though - I firmly disagree. I loved Hank's monologue about communication at the end, and I didn't think it was a compelling mystery without his explanation. Him just being some weirdo and that never being explained would have been more

But… that doesn't even make grammatical sense!

I just started Sopranos a couple of weeks ago. I think maybe subconsciously seeing your first recaps of the show piqued my interest, combined with the fact I had, of course, heard lots about it back when it aired, and I ran out of other things to watch in my off-time.

What exactly are you obsessing over?
