Right, but I think there's a middle somewhere to be had. Also I think the idea that the prequels are too "different" isn't a good summary of the problems with the prequels. The prequels have unbelievably bad acting, writing, and direction. It's not too different, it's just plain too shitty.
At least Phantom Menace had Darth Maul. It also had "Yippee!", Jar Jar Binks, and lots of other shitty stuff, but Darth Maul was cool. Pod racing? Eh.
Don't soil yourself on the way.
Are you talking dirty to me?
Hahaha.
I stopped watching that show entirely a few seasons ago, I think around the time her and that other guy I like but can't remember the name of broke up. It's shit now, right?b Because I remember the whole idea of them breaking up, only to get together again later on in the series probably, predictable and poorly…
Was that post really long enough for a "tl;dr" summary?
I second the experience of seeing stoned people fall asleep in embarrassing places and get into heated debates, and eventually physical fights, without alcohol.
Well, I don't think it implicitly means the story being told is not as "important" as the Luke/Leia/Han story. I think it means it's not super important to THEIR story, but it could be an important story nonetheless. After all, without plans, without seeing the weak point for the Death Star, it couldn't be blown up…
Haha what? I knew nothing about this. Now I may HAVE to see it.
Nope, haven't seen that one either. That one, however, I don't have any desire to see.
My knowledge of it previously has mostly been pulled from Hot Fuzz.
I've actually not really seen the first one, except some stray scenes here or there. Is it worth watching? Is it really a "classic"?
… Tortellini.
How does one eat with a costume on like that? Do they take of their helmets/hats/masks to do so?
Yeah, but "emotionally torn" I think was more of a script/story thing, moreso than really seeing the character super torn up and breakdown. Yes, he acted like a human being, and yes, it was a good performance - but I would disagree that it was better than Odenkirk. There is more range to Jimmy as a character, and by…
Yeah. I really love Keri Russel's performance also. I never really saw things from her previously that I like, but her steely sexiness definitely surprises me in that show.
… Good call. Jesus. Even David Tennant didn't make this lost. My god.
I respectfully disagree. He was good in Five-O, yes - but it was very much "more of the same" and didn't have quite the gravitas I expected, even though it was sort of what put him on the trajectory of being what he is now. He performed well enough, but I don't think it's top performance worthy, personally.
